VectoFly ("we", "us", "the Game") is a free browser game made and operated by a small team and played by people all over the world. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used when you play, and the rights you have wherever you live. By using the Game you agree to this policy.
The VectoFly team is the controller of the limited information described below. Contact for all privacy matters: itsvasudev404@gmail.com.
The Game saves your settings (music and sound), difficulty, coins, unlocked planes, paints and maps, and your personal best scores in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it any time by clearing your browser's site data.
If the global leaderboard is enabled and you finish a run, the Game sends the following to our score server: the pilot name you typed, your score, distance, level, the plane used, and a random anonymous player ID generated by the Game. The leaderboard publicly shows pilot names and scores to players worldwide. Please do not use your real name, email address or other personal details as a pilot name. We may remove names that are offensive or misleading.
No account is needed. We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number, precise location or payment details, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.
Our hosting provider and score server may automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and time of request. We use this for security, abuse prevention (for example, rate limiting score submissions) and keeping the service running.
The Game may load scripts or services from third parties, such as the CrazyGames SDK, fonts, hosting or CDN providers, and analytics or advertising partners if we add them. They may collect data under their own privacy policies. If we add analytics or ads, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy, and show a consent choice where the law requires it. Third-party vendors such as Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites; you can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings.
Where laws such as the EU/UK GDPR apply, we rely on: legitimate interests (running the Game, showing the leaderboard, keeping it secure and preventing cheating and abuse); consent (for any non-essential cookies, analytics or personalised advertising, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligation where we must comply with the law. Essential local storage is needed for the Game to work.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
The Game is available worldwide, and our hosting and score servers, and the third-party services we use, may be located in countries other than yours. By using the Game you understand your information may be processed in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers, such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.
Local data stays on your device until you clear it. Leaderboard entries are kept until they drop off the stored list or you ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
These rights come from laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws, Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA, Australia's Privacy Act, Singapore's PDPA, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and similar laws. To use any right, email itsvasudev404@gmail.com with your pilot name and approximate score so we can find your leaderboard entry. We will reply within the time the law requires (usually 30 days). Because the Game uses an anonymous player ID and no account, we may need that information to identify your entry.
Since we do not sell or share personal information or track you across sites, we treat browser signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control as being respected by default.
VectoFly is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the higher digital-consent age in your country, which can be up to 16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, for example in a pilot name, email itsvasudev404@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We take reasonable steps to protect the leaderboard service, but no method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure.
We may update this policy as the Game or the law changes. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
